Postal authorities needed stamps for every day use, so they issued the first series of modern definitive stamps, known as the Narbut issue or Ukrainian Girl. On 16 May 92, they issued the first four values:..50, (the following links are popups) .70, 1.00, 2.00,
and later on 17 June 92 they issued another four values: 5, 10, 20, and 50.
These were printed in sheets of 100 - 10 x 10.
