Robert Carter Richardson

"Samuel Q. Richardson was born in Lexington, Ky., in February, 1791. He was educated at Transylvania University, and he was regarded as one of the leading lawyers of the State. His son, Robert Carter Richardson, was also educated at Transylvania, read law with Judge George Robertson and became eminent at the bar. He represented Kenton county in the Kentucky Legislature and was Superintendent of Public Instruction for Kentucky. He was a writer of ability, well read, able and learned in the law.” [L. F.
