Edwardine Crenshaw Couch
Edwardine Crenshaw was born in Arkansas. She graduated from Southeastern Teachers College (Durant, Oklahoma) and Oklahoma University. In 1921, she married O.L. Couch, at which time she was teaching English and public speaking. In 1926, she was admitted to the bar and thereafter practiced law with her husband. She served as Secretary of the Fannin County Bar Association and contributed to various periodicals.
